Water bottle help

I am looking for a water bottle. Must keep drinks cold, mustn’t leak either. Currently have a couple of Stanley cups (way before the brand went nuts a year or so ago on social media) and I have one at work and one at home. I need one for out and about but I am not sure if it’s best to have one that has a pop up straw or one that you need to tilt to drink from ideally something I can also get ice into.

I quite like the look of the yeti rambler but is the pop mouth piece a nuisance?

it’s this one. https://uk.yeti.com/products/rambler-26-bottle-with-colour-matched-straw-cap-wildflower-fuchsia

For me it’s about cleaning the spout, and I found the pop up ones awkward, I prefer the straw and spout type.

I have a Rambler like that but it's incredibly heavy. I wouldn't want to carry it around, but it's good for if you take it somewhere in the car, for example, or a picnic basket, keeps things cold for ages.

I don't have an ice/water machine on the fridge though, and I find that if I fill it from the tap and put it in the fridge, the water doesn't get cold for many hours, either - so the insulation certainly works, but not quite in the way I needed!

I don't like the straw ones as I can never get the bottom of the drink, and I find them harder to clean. I like the ones with a pop-open lid that just has a hole that you then tip up and drink from. At the moment I have Contigo, which is lockable against leaks, pops up to open to drink from a hole (other lids are available), but the one I have isn't insulated. I think they do some like that though.

I'd only get one where all parts can go in the dishwasher!

Chilly bottle here, keeps stuff cold for ages, has a large opening and a screw off lid no pop up or straws so really easy to clean.

Ion8, Chilly and Contigo are good brands

You can get the chug cap for that Yeti Rambler Bottle if you don't like the straw cap - or at least there is a 26oz Rambler Bottle with a chug cap (which is more like a regular water bottle opening). I think Yeti are pretty good at keeping drinks hot or cold, and the bottles don't leak. They also feel pretty sturdy.

There's also those Owala freesip bottles which are pretty trendy at the moment. I think they have a couple of different ways to drink out of them, including a straw, but it's covered by a lid, unlike the Yeti where the straw folds down but part of it is still exposed.
