What can I do for my birthday

I don't drink or smoke. I have no friends.

My family are: kids: ages 8,9,13,,17,21,26
Do it's just me and them. I don't even know if the older ones would want to do anything with me.

I have never thought about doing anything before. It feels a bit odd to ask them .

How about having a walk and a picnic at a beauty spot if the weather is nice or a family visit to the cinema?

frozendaisy · 23/06/2024 21:44

Ask the older kids to babysit and book in a spa day?

That's my idea of hell .

I should have added can't have baby sitters . It's complex . Which I don't want to go into because that's a whole different thread.

Depending when it is, perhaps a nice family photoshoot? A good old family game night, with picky bits and snacks. Go for a nice brunch or picnic.

Older kids look after younger kids and you have a day out and a nice lunch. Where are you and what are finances like?

Can you treat yourself to something nice- eg art things or sewing kit or a new book- whatever your interest is.

Also plan a picnic and play some silly games, or a games night with snacks sounds lovely!

That's actually a good idea . I might see if the kids want to do a bbq
