@Brandnewskytohangyourstarsupon Completely!

MissRainbowBrite · 23/06/2024 20:39

Went on Saturday and they came on stage a few minutes after 7.30 and were done by 10.30. 3 solid hours of fantastic Foos.

Thanks all!

Another question for the experts!
It says small handbags or bags less than A4 but then in the bit where it says no chains or spikes it also says no waist packs??? Do they mean no bum bags? Which surely is concert go to?

OP posts:
Dearover · 24/06/2024 15:53

There were definitely bum bags there. Any problem, just sling it over a shoulder and pretend it's one of those Uniqlo bags. There were loads of those.

Dearover · 24/06/2024 15:55

I also smuggled in an Mars & Snicker to keep up our energy levels, along with various size bottle tops. Bag searchers didn't really worry with a woman in her 50s! There are lots of water points inside, so they didn't let any bottles in

Brandnewskytohangyourstarsupon · 24/06/2024 17:22

They were strict in Manchester, no umbrellas were allowed in.
We met a chap who had got to the front of the line and they refused him entry with his little back pack so he had to get the tram back to his car to put his bag away then travel back!

I can however confirm that huge knickers are definitely allowed in but that Dave prefers you to throw flags rather than knickers at the stage.

When they say A4, they really do mean it.

IWantThisSoMuch · 24/06/2024 19:47

That’s what I thought that across body bum bags are the thing now! What is a waist pack and why aren’t you allowed it if smaller than a4!

My bag is a Kanken Sling - a teeny version of the classic Kanken but with cross body strap. That was allowed in. There were a lot of fabric tote bags too.

MissRainbowBrite · 24/06/2024 20:48

Yes, definitely take a couple of bottle tops if you're drinking soft drinks. They remove them when you buy them. Just standard 500ml lids will do.

IWantThisSoMuch · 25/06/2024 14:50

Genius with the bottle tops but I don’t have any!!

last question to save me queuing for the merch stand if they don’t have what I’m looking for, anyone know what they’ve got all beg the lines of anything like a sticker/magnet/coaster/little set list thing on a lanyard??

I can only remember clothing and totes but didn’t look that hard.

NeedWineNow · 25/06/2024 15:00

Was at the London Stadium last Thursday.

They came on at 7.30 and did 3 hours, complete with Everlong and fireworks at the end. It was mega!

Merch stalls had mainly t-shirts and hoodies I think, together with tote bags (£20). Didn't see any small bits I have to say.

I had a very small Kipling bag - the Kipling Jola

The guy searching wanted to know what was in each pocket.

The following day I was scrolling through Facebook on the way home and a post came up from a company called Setlist Store Replica Setlists & Mugs | UK’s Only Professional Setlist Printer They had setlist posters for the night, along with mugs etc. Maybe look at getting something like that? I'm thinking of getting the setlist for last week along with the one from when we saw them in 2018.

Have a great time, they are wonderful live. I wish I was going again!

ReadyTeddy1000 · 25/06/2024 20:44

In Glasgow- on stage at 8.05, ended at the 11pm curfew.

The bars weren't serving bottles of juice - all drinks were in cardboard pint cups.

Dearover · 25/06/2024 21:34

Go direct to the Foos own merch site. I got my T-shirt delivered to me at home

ReadyTeddy1000 · 25/06/2024 23:13

IWantThisSoMuch · 26/06/2024 09:44
