When do you do your weekly food shop?

Just that really. I'm currently on maternity leave and go myself while DH is at work sometimes with DS and sometimes alone. DH does tell me to wait until evenings or the weekend so he's able to help bring the shopping in but there is something therapeutic to me when it comes to doing a full weeks shop. Is there a certain day or time you go and for whatever reason?

I shop ad hoc during the week when I’m about and need something , aside from lockdown / covid when I had an online delivery or my sister did my shopping I’ve never shopped only once a week .

8 am Wednesday mornings. DH will pick up any extra bits if we need them.

It is quiet and purposeful at that time in the morning. No families or couples meandering about as if it was Brighton sea front.

We have an online delivery on a Sunday evening, after DD is in bed. It sets us up for the week, pack ups etc.

I usually top up with fresh stuff mid week.

Also will sometimes get a click and collect on a Friday if we have visitors for the weekend.

We get a Tesco delivery either on a Saturday between 4-5pm or Sunday between 9-10am depending on plans.

Depending on the time of year, I do sometimes do an additional midweek delivery too for fresh food

We have a delivery saver pass so it covers all deliveries and we get early access to the Christmas slots

I don't! I shop nearly everyday. I find shopping ahead and meal planning really difficult. It's a bone of contention between DH and me.

Online mid-week delivery. I started getting online deliveries when I had 3 DC under 4 and never looked back.

Friday's about 10am. Sounds very specific I know but only because we go on the way back from DD swimming lesson.
If she is too tired we occasionally go after her nap so mid afternoon.
This week we got an online delivery Friday 3-4pm slot.
We got online deliveries for the first 2 years of DD life but now I like to take her shopping and she enjoys going

I like to go after work on a Friday to get stuff in for the weekend and next week. Lidl does their refresh on Thursdays as well. I do Lidl first then Sainsbury's for the extra bits.
