Can anyone help with a visit to Stoke on Trent?

I’m going next weekend for two nights and staying in Trentham Gardens. Want to look around at the potteries and museums and am meeting a friend for one day. (Sunday)
Can anyone local recommend somewhere, ideally a museum or pottery factory where we can meet up and spend a couple of hours before having lunch somewhere casual but lovely?
I am thinking Hanley is where the main pottery attractions are so would drive there. Have looked at the visit Stoke website but am flummoxed by the number of museums and pottery factories and shops!
TIA

Emma Bridgewater factory is just on the outskirts of Hanley and is really nice.

Wedgwood isn't far from Trentham: https://www.worldofwedgwood.com/content/wedgwood-factory-tour#:~:text=A%20walking%20guided%20tour%20takes,viewing%20the%20factory%20at%20work.

Spode in Stoke has a museum and also its right next door to The Quarter, which is really nice for lunch: https://www.thequarterpotbank.co.uk/

Would you believe I live in Stoke-on-Trent but have never been to any of the pottery places so am not very clued up on them!

Thanks so much everyone. The Spode one sounds like it would work if there are restaurants walkable. Much appreciated

Trentham Gardens are lovely in themselves. A couple of nice places to eat there as well, the restaurant called Willow in particular.
