I’ve hit menopause and my adhd traits have become unmanageable. Can I get a diagnosis and treatment through the NHS? I started to look at doing this privately but it’s unaffordable for me.

It depends where you live and whether there is an NHS adult ADHD service covering that area or if your health authority would approve funding for you to be seen in an area that does have that provision.

Waiting lists tend to be extremely long.
