Breast lump, is this something to be concerned about?

I get a mammogram every year with my health care. Had one in November last year and the year before. There is a cyst that they wanted to investigate with an ultrasound. Last year it was bigger than the year before. I'm on tablet form HRT for POI.

So I had to go for a ultrasound at the six month mark and have another mammogram in November. Had the u/s the last week in May.

Right after that I felt a lump come up, my husband felt it first and said is that the cyst? I said I suppose so. But I can still feel it and its slightly, not quite tender but I can feel a slight ache, not pain but I'm conscious of my breast.

Is it likely to be anything to worry about? I'm going to book an appointment for another u/s and have it looked at but should I be worried about this?

Nobody can tell you either way, but it's always, always best to get these things checked.

I found a lump on my thigh recently and all Google told me was that it was a sarcoma - I went to see the GP in a right panic who confirmed it was just a benign fatty lump and absolutely nothing to worry about.

The reassurance and peace of mind is priceless, and if it does happen to be something bad, the earlier it's detested and treated, the better Flowers
