Bathroom scales

I've been on a mission to lose weight for...gosh, two days now and it's going well.
I realised I hadn't weighed myself for a couple of weeks and wanted a starting weight so I hopped on today and the scales told me I have gained two stone ConfusedI tried it in different spots of the room and switched to kg.
Luckily, just as I was about to hysterically panic the scales told me I am 178.732 stones.
I suspect the scales are not reliable at this point Grin
I'm have ordered the traditional bathroom scales now, no more digital fannying about.
I know numbers aren't the best way to monitor healthy weight loss and all that but I like ro know.
If there's anyone here working with almost zero willpower but desperate to be healthier please say hi 👋🏻

Fantastic!! Well done you 👏🏻 👏🏻👏🏻
That's great, it's a real boost when you see a change.
I felt guilty last night, I had (brown seeded bread) butter on toast last night for dinner, bit previously I would have had that while choosing what takeaway to have later so once in a week isn't so bad.
I'm going to weigh myself in a couple of days but I can honestly say I have more energy than I had before and feel just better in general.
Let's keep going 💪🏻💪🏻

How's everybody doing? I'm about 5 pounds down I think, although I've slipped up a few times to be honest. Ah well, back on the healthy horse

I've got 18 months to achieve about a 4 stone loss so as not to be fat and fifty. It's so hard in late forties..what used to work just doesn't and when you work FT, single parent to teens who are picky / rarely eat the same and nothing good it's extra hard. I have to keep it incredibly simple so breakfast is wholemeal toast with PB or an egg and an orange. Lunch is always cottage cheese,, tuna or chicken on rice cakes with salad and dinner is protein with veg or wholemeal carbs. I do it on the days I can and in the days I can't due to being on a day out, or a social event I try and just make better choices, so vodka tonic not beer or wine. It's v slow going and quite disheartening.

Well done @Sux2buthen stumbling blocks are inevitable but the important thing is you get back on track.

I weighed yesterday and I'm 10.2lbs down. Starting to see a bit of a difference in my face.

It's bloody hard work and I really just want to scoff down a huge dominoes pizza Grin
