Are period pants safe to use during water play in the garden?

So my daughter has just started her first period and we have a family BBQ today with water play. Is it safe for her to wear period pants underneath some boardies or will they just fill up with water and stop absorbing the blood? We have a few spare pairs we can bring

I would say bring as many spares as u can, and afew spare shorts if u have them

Bring extra pants and shorts. In my experience, sometimes it works fine, but sometimes it doesn’t.
