Covid nausea???

I've had possible covid this week. Head felt like it was going to explode with pressure, sinuses really painful, cough, loss of taste and smell, productive cough. Felt horrific.
Getting better now but last few days I've had no appetite and consistent nausea? Is this a thing?

Yes - I felt nauseous for a good 2 weeks!

I’ve had covid this week too, much rougher than the last time I had it.

I’ve had nausea and lack of appetite too but making myself eat. Think it’s down to headache and blocked/gunky sinuses….

Yep, I woke in the night feeling rough and tested because I work with a high risk group. Nausea, tummy trouble, pain everywhere...

For sure. I tested positive on Wednesday and the pukey feeling is real.

I experienced that too. Covid symptoms started to get better then I got nausea and vomiting for two weeks requiring antiemetics, electrolytes and IV fluids. Got better eventually but far worse than the earlier Covid symptoms.

Me too. I have had upset stomach 4 days so far, nausea, feeling like a train hit me, all joints sooo painful, headache, dizziness, no sense of smell or taste - even water tastes 'off', acid reflux, and the cough! Horrendous. Not able to sleep due to that. Sore throat was awful, but improving on day 3 or 4. No appetite, then hungry, one mouthful and full up. Cold and hot sweats with raised temperature. Chest pains and elevated heart rate. There are so many extra symptoms this time.

It's really nasty this time around. I wondered where it's been hiding, but it's clearly been gathering strength.

This is rotten, how long is it taking people to feel better?

icebearforpresident · 24/06/2024 09:35

My husband tested positive on Thursday and had a good 24 hours over Thursday and Friday of nothing staying down and coming out both ends. He had Covid back in 2022 and had vomiting then as well but has been worse this time around l.

My daughter (17) was ill from Tuesday. She was absolutely fine yesterday bar the cough and no sense of taste or smell.
I've been down with it since last Thursday, but only tested positive on Friday. Still rough. I won't be retesting until 5 days are up, but I've heard of people being floored for 2 to 3 weeks.

I’ve just tested positive today, I’ve had really bad nausea for the last few days but woke up today and throat is killing, how long did everyone have there symptoms for?

HelloDaisy · 03/07/2024 17:17

I felt really rough for about a week, but it’s taken me ages to get over the tiredness and blocked head..

ghif · 03/07/2024 18:23

Currently have covid. Feel like it would be much kinder for someone to chop my head off as the pressure is unbearable.

My DCs are very young and one is vomiting, the other not yet.
