I have high blood pressure, for which I take tablets, and have just been sent a form by the GP surgery asking me to take at home readings for a week. All fine. The form says that they are looking to see average readings of 135/85. When I have been at the surgery previously, I seem to recall the nurse saying that they pay more attention to one of the numbers than the other, but I can't remember whether it was the higher or lower number. Does anybody know?
