I'm a single parent and had two jobs (until one fell through recently, not my fault mind) to help cover bills since becoming single. But I just got a new job and the pay rise is enough that I can comfortably cover the bills and won't need to consider a second job!!
Have told friends and family who are pleased but I'm not sure they understand quite how amazing it feels. I've run out of people to tell but the last couple of years have been so unbelievably hard and I feel so proud of myself. It feels like things might be turning a corner.
I am unable to do anything much to celebrate this weekend due to being a single parent, so thought I'd post and tell you all instead 😅
