Looking for some advice. I had a smear test almost 2 years ago which came back hpv positive. I was meant to have another test last year but fell pregnant so only been able to get one a few days ago after ds2 turned 3 months.
When she was doing it I started bleeding and she said a little spotting was normal. She also said I had cervical ectropion. I’ve been having quite a lot of bleeding (bright red blood) rather than a period bleed ever since and have a foul smell down there today despite showering and washing with femfresh twice today. I’m on the implant and have pcos so haven’t really had a proper period since giving birth, just spotting here and there so can’t really tell if it’s a period or not. I also bleed sometimes after intimacy (with a previous ex partner who was rather big down there I used to bleed almost every time).
Has anyone else experienced this? I’ve been quite worried since the smear due to the bleeding but if it was anything sinister, would they have picked it up on my ultrasounds during pregnancy?
