How do you mentally reset?

Ive had quite a bit on recently, have been a bit stressed and think I’ve got a bit worn out and can tell mentally I’m not as upbeat or resilient as I am normally.
What little things have could help to try and give myself a bit of a boost / mentally reset?

For me:
-move my body, go for a walk outside
-listen to music in the genre I need… upbeat vs sad vs contemplative depending on what mood I need to feel
-seek out hugs, from DH DC or DDog
-write a note on my phone giving myself advice. Somehow I’m less catastrophic and more helpful to myself when I write down how to get out of whatever situation I need to solve.
-eat some chocolate, prob not helpful long term but still a strategy I use.
not sure if they help but these are my go to’s

A day out at the sea side. Just me and the beach. A walk beside the sea, chat to strangers as I enjoy an ice cream on a bench.
(I’m lucky to have coast nearby,)

A day out somewhere I’ve always wanted to go. Get up early and shoot off with a picnic in my back pack. (I’m lucky to live in a lovely part of the UK and have my own car.)

A spa day, all by myself.

Time alone is my re-set. I hate inane chatter, shrieking, OTT excitable voices fuelled by alcohol, compromising on my re-set days so I never go with others.

I Rinse and repeat as necessary.

Nature is healing so head out for a scenic walk, I love the waterfalls, do what makes you happy and you will reset ❤️

Do whatever will take you out of your mind and into your body and allow you reconnect with yourself. For me that is yoga, breath work, a massage, time in nature, a date with myself where I talk to myself the way I would talk to someone I liked and was interested in getting to know better.

Make sure my surroundings are clean and tidy, then just sit in silence. I find weekend mornings the best for this, when no one else is awake for hours.

Water for me, I need to be by it (sea, river) or in it (hot tub, bath) close my eyes and just drift off. It's like a reset button for me.
I've also recently started going to sound bath meditations, and they are lovely.
And listening to the birds, I always go by the mantra of if I can't hear the birds I've mentally fallen asleep again.

Walk in the countryside, I live on the very edge of town so can be in fields and forest that are a 15 min walk away. Shoot enemies online as I game.

Yes to walking and nature.
Walking helps us to deal with the stress hormones and give us endorphins and nature is grounding and calming.
