Are they any good? I struggle with the normal foam ones. Thinking of getting some for my holiday, as the hotel I am in was extremely noisy. The outside noise was fine. It was the inside noise I struggled with. Want to sill be able to hear my alarm clock!

My autistic children really like them.

Brefugee · 21/06/2024 22:19

My DCs (adults) swear by them. One has different types for different situatilns

I got the experience pro ones and they're ok but haven't found them brilliant. They take the edge off but not enough for me really. Can I ask which version people have please?

My son who is a drummer uses his above any other brand.

I am noise sensitive and often wake up if I hear noise - I have the ones that cut out background noise and they are literally amazing.

CassandraWebb · 21/06/2024 22:30

I like them from work as I can easily pop them in and out. There are different types so you need to think carefully what type you need (or experiment)

Yes, I absolutely love mine!

I have two pairs, the ones designed for sleep which are amazing. Best fitting earplugs I've ever had, stay in all night and so comfy, excellent on planes!

I also have the experience (I think), the ones for cutting out a bit of background noise which again I find great. I use them for the Christmas panto as we sit in the first couple rows and it's so bloody loud! And I'd use them if I went to a gig or something.

I have a pair of the quiet ones.
You will still be able to hear your alarm clock.

Plump82 · 21/06/2024 23:07

I wasn't impressed with them at all and they hurt so bad. I'm using cheap silicon ones from Amazon that are miles better.

ErrolTheDragon · 21/06/2024 23:09

My dd was extolling their virtues when she was on holiday with us recently - is there a brand for sleeping in that people particularly recommend? (Ive got small lugholes if that makes a difference)

Toddlerteaplease · 25/06/2024 22:26

They've arrived. So I'm going to try them tonight and see if they mean I can sleep
With the window open. And hear my alarm in the morning
