I feel like my neck is disappearing! 😀

I’ve noticed lately that I don’t have much of a neck anymore. I am
overweight which doesn’t help so need to sort that out but any other tips?

I notice in bed that my shoulders are pretty much touching my ears when I’m laying down. I’m going to look into a massage to see if some of this is tension in my shoulders and will do some neck stretches too.

i hate it.

I’m about 2.5 stone overweight. Honestly feel like I barely have a neck anymore!

Have you got a rounded posture?
Try dropping shoulders and straightening back consciously/yoga/Pilates/posture corrector thingy

I wish. I phrased it wrong before. I’m 2.5 stone overweight but would like to lose 4 stone.

Get your thyroid checked as pp have suggested it could be a goitre

Definitely try pilates first. If you find a local class on FB or similar, contact them and ask for a 1:1.
It might be £40 but this will be money well spent if you are to begin a weekly class afterwards.
Case study - someone I know ( sporty as a teenager, fit, thinnish) said they didn't believe sport in bare feet was worth it.
I MADE them go to pilates - they were slim, 59, but could'nt touch their toes.
A year later they are strong, bendable and able to garden way better ! They wish they'd been before.

So, try pilates before doc.

I naturally have a very short neck and I have wide shoulders so I look like football player. I noticed that my posture doesn’t help so now I make an effort to sit and stand straight and pull my shoulders back. It’s tough to do but as I do it more it becomes something I do without thinking.
