I started lane swimming on Thursday night.
I was tired the next day but was pleased I did so well and really pushed myself. I did just 30 minutes in total but really went for it
Last night, I was sore but went again. It felt good to be in the swing of it. I did 40 mins, and again pushed myself.
I came out of the pool and hanging rooms and felt dizzy. Like I couldn't walk straight
sounds ridiculous!
But it was awful. I sat in my car for over 10 minutes before feeling okay to drive home. That even I was really sick. And in the night, threw up a few times. I felt awful, my stomach hurt
Today my muscles don't hurt but they feel 'sickly'. I still feel really faint and I am exhausted.
Is this DOMS? I ask because I've had that before and it didn't really feel like this - I just felt really sore and could feel where I'd been using muscles I'm not usually using
But I honestly feel like death typing this. Is it a coincidental virus that has come on straight after exercise? Or just DOMS?
I've had to sit down because I feel so dizzy
I've been drinking well so not sure why it's like this.
