I have struggled with anxiety for some time but have been doing really well recently. Feeling generally positive and calm during the day. But for the past week I've been experiencing what I can only describe as nighttime anxiety/stress.
I keep waking up in the night, having stressful dreams, feeling shaky and clenching my teeth so bad it's giving me headaches. I wake up with my heart racing and my body on high alert.
It's weird because I'm completely calm and relaxed when I go to bed, it's as if my body won't let me relax so goes into panic mode while I'm asleep. Other than continuing to work on stress etc during the day what on earth can I do to stop spending every night like this? It's like my mind is completely calm but my body is freaking out about something!
