DD had a few bites on her legs yesterday, I had a couple too. But hers have done this. Are they infected? What could it be? Only on her legs (and my foot).

Horsefly?

Potentially an allergic reaction to something like fleas or bed bugs.

Reminds me of something my son had a couple of years ago. They first looked like normal “bites” and I assumed it was just something from playing outside a school, but within days they got bigger - not itchy and he still had them a few weeks later and getting bigger! In the end I finally got a drs appointment and she said they were some kind of insect bite and she prescribed a cream (sorry can’t remember off hand what) which did finally get rid of them. But they were large, flattish, red, not itchy and not circular.

I did wonder if it was an allergic reaction. Presumably they'll still go away on their own?

They're so so itchy! I've got two on my foot and I've been awake since 5am because they're driving me mad!!
