DH self-harming - how to support DCs?

DH has recently started self-harming, and having suicidal thoughts. Up until Monday, he was doing it on his arms, and the DC (10 and 12) were unaware. Sadly, on Monday, he hit a crisis point and has cut his face quite badly. He's been to the GP, and is trying to get help.

The GP advised honesty with the children, so DH sat down with them and explained that he's not well, and that he had cut himself, but that he was working with the doctor, and with me, to get better. DS1 seems to be dealing with it reasonably well, but DS2 is struggling.

Does anybody have any recommendations for books/sites to help support the children? I've tried googling, but all I can find is stuff about how to support your child/teen when they are harming themselves. I can't find anything about a parent self-harming, and how to support their child through it. School are aware, and I know pastoral are keeping an eye on him, but I'd like to have something for home too if he needs it.
