HI all,

Due to fly out tomorrow from Birmingham international airport. DS "thought" he had pre-booked our parking (sigh) to latte to bo0k now. . I can get "meet and greet" parking for £61 or risk there being a space in the car park for £30.

if you use Birmingham international train station for parking will it be rammed on a Friday morning at 8am ? don't know whether to risk it or not , or just go with the £61 for "meet and greet "

thank s

Loads of spaces at the train station and much cheaper than airport parking. There's a surface car park and a multi storey. You can also pre book a space on the train company's website.

pre-booked at the train station is sold out unfortunately

I'd go meet & greet for convenience factor, especially given recent queues at the airport over the last couple of weeks. You want to give yourself as much time as possible rather than driving round looking for somewhere to park.

I was thinking about just the "ease" of it , and the queues at Birmingham have been horrendous , I'm bringing a chair !

Park on someone's drive nearby (paid for) and get an uber. Plenty of places to do this.

Or are you just dropping off?

If so drop him at the train station for free and he can get the little magnetic train.

we are both going so I will need parking , other wise I would have just dropped him off
