Big water cup with straw but NOT a Stanley

Has anyone seen a big water cup with a straw which doesn't look like a big sippy cup if the type I remember my Mum having in hospital?

I need to up my water intake. But I barely leave my desk 9-3 and cannot risk spills. I also need to use a straw (medical reasons). But I hate the look of the Stanley style.

Is there anything different out there?

I bought this one in Tesco a few weeks back for around £10! I believe it's 1.2 litre

kleen kanteen - cafe straw top (I use both cafe lid and this). Different sizes but my 20oz tkwide fits in my cars drink holder if that’s necessary.
also have a stainless steel camelback eddy 1l
I’ve had both for over 4 years and I regular daily use. Camelbak has a few dents when I’ve dropped it (but looks pristine otherwise!).

Witchbitch20 · 20/06/2024 15:08

Home Bargins - loads of different ones available. Probably the same for B&M.

twilightcafe · 20/06/2024 15:12

Primark sell a load of different types.

Normallynumb · 20/06/2024 15:39

I have a couple of sistema which come in various capacities.
I also have a polar gear one which is good

keylimedog · 20/06/2024 15:40

Yetis are fab! Really insulated and come in loads of different types / colours.

longdistanceclaraclara · 20/06/2024 15:42

Yetis look like Stanleys @keylimedog

OP they are everywhere, Primark, supermarkets. Personally I like Chilly's with the sports cap if you are able to use one of those .

vollyb · 20/06/2024 18:19

Mango bottles are good!

thedendrochronologist · 20/06/2024 18:48

TK MAXX has a gazillion. Decent brands and good prices and size

Cups, bottle, handles, no handles, proper straws, flippy straws .

PepperCode · 20/06/2024 19:23

I haven't found anything with a straw in Primark, TK Maxx or similar. Loads if sports water bottles but all the tip up to drink style - not sipping from a straw type.

I definitely need the straw or my headphones are displaced if I try and drink another way.

The Bottle Bottle one seems a best bet so far.

I swear by contigo straw bottles (and their travel mugs too). Here's an insulated one but if non insulated is ok there's cheaper ones too.

PepperCode · 20/06/2024 22:31

I like Contigo too. But I'm not keen on having to press the button to drink.

I like the yeti option. It looks good!

B&M had Stanley dupes for a fraction of the price x

kitsuneghost · 20/06/2024 22:53

Have a look in TK maxx. I bought a 1.5Lfrom there

Blueuggboots · 21/06/2024 07:43

I've got this one....

And you can buy a handle for it but it maybe too close to a Stanley.

Iheartmysmart · 21/06/2024 07:50

I’ve got a Frank Green water bottle. It’s ceramic lined so there’s no metallic taste and so far hasn’t leaked. I never used to drink water but am now refilling it several times a day!

ThisFancyCyanStork · 13/08/2024 13:17

Owala is fantastic.

750ml (so holds a bottle of wine) but it doesn’t feel that big.

straw is hidden so if you drink from first opening, you’re sipping via straw.

if you tilt the bottle, you can swig water like normal from larger opening.

it sounds like it would make a mess but doesn’t.

they’re very popular in the US and I got mine off Amazon uk with no duty fees, but they also sell them in urban outfitters, although currently only in the hot pink colour.
