I DO.NOT.GET.IT!! I find him sexless, irritating, patronising and smug...am I missing something? Pen is lovely and glowing, but I don't think they have even the teeniest bit of chemistry - I cannot understand the casting!! Admittedly I haven't read the books - is he this smug and overbearing in the books?

I don’t mind Colin although I much prefer Anthony. I saw him interviewed and he seemed lovely IRL too.

Bloody hell, in season 1 I think Colin was a fairly typical weight and certainly not unattractive although the hair wasn't great , season 2 he was quite a bit heavier which I personally thought looked much better than this season where it seems he's stripped all the weight off

But to say he looks like a frog? That's really unpleasant

I quite like benidict, I'm not looking forward to what they do to him when it comes to his season if Anthony and Colin are anything to go by

Can't be doing with S3, it's irritating. Left it behind when the gruesome writhing and panting began. Whoever writes these sex scenes should put in a bulk order for asthma inhalers. Grim.

Completely disagree! I find Luke Newton attractive and thought he was perfect for the role of Colin. He really stepped up and I found his “mansplaining”, or in other words new dominance, really attractive!

The actor is older than me though, is it that he looks too young? I find Anthony and Benedict look too old for me to find them attractive, although I can see why others would, and too old for the characters they are playing. I had to look away on Benedict’s scenes, did not enjoy the predatory older lady storyline at all!

I don't mind Colin, but he's not Duke of Hastings level of sexy. Did no one get put off by the scenes with Colin and the peostitutes? A man paying for sex is NOT sexy.

I can't stand Penelope, I think she's a selfish little twerp (and I also don't like the actress either) and I cringed at the sex scenes. The whole "tell me what to do" and Colin being this apparent sex God was 😳

Yes it's fair to say season 3 was crap. Colin's glow up was a miss and he's a whiny sanctimonious prick. Penelope's ridiculous panting and chin wobbling/close to tears 90% of the time was cringy. I couldn't care less if they got together. Penelope absolutely should have gone for lord debling. Much better prospects for a good life. Hated the Benedict storyline too. Think I've given up on this now.

I don't find any of the male Bridgerton characters remotely attractive.

Lord Debling gave her a plant so he would of had me from hello 😂 what a life she could of led living in his vast library, whistledowning to her hearts content.

I don't find any of the men attractive I actively dislike the whole Colin story. Paying for sex and only when pen was potentially marrying someone else did he suddenly realise she was the one ergh.

The only story I liked was George and Charlotte. Seemed like they portrayed a real love for eachother.

Mostly this season I found how I wanted to know more of the friendships and the women of the ton. I find the men so boring and predictable. I wish they'd do a series where its less focused on securing a eligible man and more on the women exploring the world or their own friendships. I'm so bored of one dimensional men and cringe sex scenes. I appreciate its the period they are trying to portray although they have changed class and race elements. Could we have less sexism and misogyny next?

Side note I really feel like netflix won't allow anything without ridiculous sex scenes. They really add nothing for me at all could happily do without any.

I haven't watched the "Queen Charlotte" yet but everyone on here says it's worth a watch so I'll use it as a palate cleanser after this borefest later

Benedict is cute in a happy Labrador kind of way.
Colin is a total nerd. If you like soft, nerdy boys, he's a peach.
But both Luke's are far more attractive in real life 😂
I really liked Antony in Series 2. Jonathan Bailey is an excellent actor and handsome to boot.

For me Colin will always be Demelza's soppy brother. Benedict, on the other hand......
