Mild hearing loss - extra protection for babies ears at a party?

Hi! Our baby has this week been diagnosed with mild hearing loss. We’re going to a wedding ceremony and reception next weekend and wondered if baby ear defenders would be a good idea to protect her hearing for on the evening? Our baby is 6 weeks old.

Absolutely, but I wouldn't rely on them fitting properly.
My DD is in a local jazz band and at their last concert all of the under 5's were at some point wearing ear defenders. I think I'd also want to make sure there was somewhere quiet we could go every half hour or so and I wouldn't stay too long (will you be up for it?). No one will be offended if you leave early, and if you're staying at the venue, you can always alternate who's in the room and who's at the party.
