Where do the words go?

I often wonder about some odd things. Such as, when I type into my computer, I sometimes hit the wrong button but don't realise. Then my whole paragraph is typed but it doesn't show. Where do the lost words go? Is there a place for them in the ether? Are they trapped inside the internet or do they escape and float around invisibly near my head.

Do you know where they go or do you think about strange things as well? If so what? 🤔

Many, many years ago i was a Computer Operator and occasionally the computer would just print out a number of pages of random jibberish.

I was told there was a Government Department that this data was sent to and THEY were analysing it to see if the computers were trying to communicate with us...

I was skeptical at the time but I now realise it was absolute rubbish as none of our Govenments could ever have been that focused or organised.

Well I wasn't expecting that as an answer! Was it a wind up? I am so gullible I reckon it might have been true in the 80s! 😆
