Where do you dispose of old kitchen knives?

Not really safe putting them in the black bags. I wondered about the knife amnesty bin at the police station but would feel properly awkward using that!!!

Any ideas please?

Take them to the dump/ recycling centre where they'll be a bin for scrap metal

You can use the amnesty bin. No problem at all

I anything thats sharp ie broken glass or knifes etc I put in a cardboard Box tape it shut and gos in normal bin.

You've got a police station? I thought they'd sold the lot of them.
