What do you use to plan a road trip holiday? Excel etc?

We have been using spreadsheets forrver but it is quite an unwieldy method. I guess one option is the maps app but I am wondering if there are other options? Tasks? Keep?

Or a specific app?

@unlikelychump I use My Maps by Google. I put icons on the map for everything of interest and use the description field on each icon to add notes and maybe links to websites. I find it really helpful to visualise where everything is.

I've started using Google My Maps cos can visually see which places are close together and then I break that down into days. You can add notes to the pins, like times, addresses, etc.

Another Google My Maps user. Different days have different colour pins. Good for road trips but also city breaks.

Costs managed on an excel though.
