Can you diagnose me?

I’ve seen a GP and they weren’t very helpful just kept asked me if I was depressed.

My main issue is tiredness all the time no matter how much I sleep. I’ve always been a good napper but this is taking the biscuit nowdays. I slept 9 hours and had a 1.5hr nap today, already looking forward to bed.

Also feel sick (every day or every otherday) or am sick (Prob 1-2 weeks)

I drink quite a lot and am thirsty but diabetes has been ruled out

I bruise easily and platelets dip to 100ish but come back upto 200.

I have a lot of IBS stomach issues, can go to the toilet multiple times a day. Sometimes the cramps are so painful but other times manageable. I have a constant small to large intestine pain bottom right.

Iron is sometimes low but currently it’s back up, B12 is fine and thyroid. I have some raised liver function tests but nothing the GP is concerned about. I had IBD ruled out with a stool sample.

Can food allergies cause all these symptoms? Any other suggestions? I’m loosing the will to live with thr tiredness and I feel like my GP doesn’t care

It can be a number of things. My first thought was coeliac, but similar symptoms could come from a number of vitamin deficiencies. Magnesium, vitamin D, calcium, ferritin, etc.

What blood tests have you had? Has your GP done a full set of tests including urea and electrolytes, bone panel, liver panel, vitamin D? What were the actual results? (NHS often says you’re within normal range but you’re still low enough to have symptoms)

How old are you? Could perimenopause be making you tired?

Your GP needs to investigate further and in the meantime you need to take a good multivitamin, vitamin d pearls, iron etc.
