Hi.
I had some bad stomach pains that lasted just over a week, about 3 weeks ago. I went to the doctor who carried out some blood tests and requested a stool sample. All bloods and stool sample came back clear. I also received a fit test from my gp a few days after initial appointment which I sent off about 2 weeks ago.
I haven't had the results of the fit test yet but I did receive a phone call from the hospital today saying I had been referred to the colorectal department. They couldn't give me any I formation on why the referral was made, and having rang the doctor, the receptionist couldn't see a referral.
This has unnerved me, could it be as a result of the fit test? I'm sure I would have been told the result.
I have to wait a week now. Anyone had this before?
