Anyone going to see Girls Aloud in Birmingham?

Hi all

Anyone on here going to see Girls Aloud this week? I’m due to go on Wednesday at the Resorts World Arena and the tix are still a no show, despite emails from Ticketek saying they’re coming….

Anyone else??

Hi, yes. I have tickets for Thursday and like you still haven't received. My friend bought them and has emailed, but they say they take so many days to reply. Not quite sure what to do?

Hi unsure also. Have tried calling the arena but it goes through to ticketmaster. Asked them if there’s a number for the box office - apparently not. If they don’t come tomorrow on Wednesday morning,” at the latest, then what?! Another message sent today to ticketek but still no reply. A lot of comments on the Girls Aloud post on the Ticketek Facebook page saying the same thing - not received.

So my friend has discovered an email in her junk folder about tickets. It says important ticket info, if you don't receive your ticket 2 days before please click this link etc. Can you have a look and sew I'd you have got it?

Hi yes I received that link and clicked on it and it took me to a form for a refund! I don’t think slot of people are going to be going to this show!

I’m also waiting for tickets for Girls Aloud tomorrow- through Ticketek.
I had a reply to an email saying the tickets should show by 3pm today ( which they haven’t)
I have spoken to the arena too and they could t really help because Ticketek isn’t their company - really not sure whether to travel or not

I haven’t got mine either and I’m supposed to be going tomorrow

That’s so bad. I finally received mine just after I last posted at 3:40. They came 2nd class and are from Ticket Master not Ticketek.

That is cutting it fine! Appalling they can leave it until the day before and hope the postman isn't ill that day!

I would go down to the box office with your proof of purchase on the app/email and card you used to pay for them. That is what we are doing on Wednesday. The alternative is to not go down and then they say you didn't turn up.

My postman didn’t come today, he only comes 2/3 times a week.

I’m still waiting for my tickets for tomorrow nights show in Birmingham. I contacted the Box Office at World Resorts and they can’t help so waste of time just turning up and hoping they will! If they don’t come today then we need to cancel all our plans. They’ve had since November when I booked to send the tickets out!!! I will be looking for my money back!!!

UPDATE....tickets just arrived for tomorrow in Birmingham! Talk about last minute. Ticketek are just a waste of space. How did they know I wasn't going over the night before and booked hotel etc.

Adding to the craziness...they were posted second class!

On my now down as we speak! So glad I went through Resorts directly, sounds like a nightmare. Duly noted not to use Tiketek.

My tickets arrived today, again posted 2nd class for Thursdays show. We are going up tomorrow so thank goodness they arrived today. My friend messaged tiketek and they said they posted them last week, again blaming the postal service which seems to be their answer to everyone. It's rubbish, they're clearly posting them last minute! Luckily we have them now, hopefully everyone else gets theirs too!

Glad to hear so many have received them in time! Mine were obviously a resale from the ticket factory. I bought mine from Ticketek in February but they had a sale date of November on them.

Be warned anyone using Ticketek that they are terrible at customer service and cause a lot of stress to people!

Also to anyone attending any concert Resorts World, go through their website and buy from the ticket factory! Duly noted for future reference!!
