How do I complain?

Last night my son ordered through Just Eat. He had a burger, milkshake and waffles.

After consuming one sip of the milkshake, his throat started tingling. He then asked me if it had peanuts in? I could see something on top that looked like white chocolate, so I went to the just eat site and checked the allergy list for the milkshake, THERE WASN’T ANY, so I called up the company from where the order came from and alas, there were peanuts all over the top.

My son went into anaphylactic shock and was taken by ambulance to hospital as his heart rate and vomiting couldn’t be controlled.

This is what he ordered (see pic), it is exceptionally poor, dangerous, potentially FATAL conduct on their part. My son is in hospital due to the lack on information on your site from which he ordered.

Who and how do I complain? I am rubbish at this, but I firmly believe something so serious cannot be overlooked.

If he’s over 18 he should complain himself and not his mother. If he’s under 18 then a parent should.

Yes how old is he?

Sounds like you only checked ingredients afterwards and he ordered without checking at all

If it said 'nuts' then I would avoid if I had this allergy, regardless if peanuts were or weren't in the list

Is this a child who ordered for himself?

I think you may just need to be more cautious in future. If he has that serious a peanut allergy I wouldn’t trust anything claiming to have any ‘nut’ in or on it. They’ve clearly chopped up any old bits of nuts. They picture showed nuts - he couldn’t guarantee which nuts there were so it’s something to avoid.
