Been up all night with the most painful earache

I’ve been suffering with one hell of a headcold but it escalated at around 11pm last night when I woke up with sudden blocked and extremely painful ears. I never had a problem with my ears yesterday… it just suddenly happened!

Taken paracetamol & ibuprofen but still blocked and the pain is unbelievable.

According to google could be some sort of sinus infection, are there any at-home remedies to unblock/stop the pain or is this a gp & antibiotics job?

Get checked by GP as could be ear infection.

Gp. While you wait, you could try hot water bottle, wrapped in a scarf, against your ear
