Audley End station - taxis

Anyone know how easy it is to get taxis from Audley End station mid-week around 1pm? It's to get to a funeral, which is why I don't want to be late... Info online simply says there is a taxi rank. Any local knowledge very welcome!

Not sure how busy the rank is so I would suggest pre booking

Pre book if you can. Or get a train that gets in earlier than you really need. Then give one of the cab companies shown by a pp a call. Crocus Cars is a well known local company.

Audley End station serves Saffron Walden but is not in the town itself. It is two or three miles out of it in a village called Wendens Ambo. There's an area for taxis to stop outside it but it isn't a place where I have generally seen them queuing up for business unless they have been called.
