Just that really. DD starts secondary school in September and it’s time to get her a phone. We’ve had weeping and wailing for months now as apparently most of her Y6 class already have one and we are the worst parents in the world as she can’t join the class WhatsApp etc. Anyway. I’m planning to buy her one in the next couple of months. I don’t want to spend a lot and I’m looking for something I can control as much as possible in terms tracking and limiting her ability to download apps. I have a work iPhone that is due to be upgraded soon and in theory I could give her my old one but I’m not sure how child friendly I can make it.
Any advice from anyone who is happy with the affordability and security of a handset they’ve bought for their DC would be appreciated!
