What would you do if your child disclosed this? (TW: CSA)

Hi all

Real situation, not recent and not my family.

Wondering what should have happened here.

DD (14) discloses that her brother (16) used to visit her bedroom at night. Brother actually admits it.

1. Should the brother be allowed to continue living under the same roof?

2. Should police be involved? (How else can other children be protected?)

How awful. I was in that situation, though much younger than that (both of us). All I wanted was for him to leave the house. I couldn't tell my parents. I'm really glad this girl has told someone.
