What age teenage boys? Big difference between what a 13 year old and a 17 yr old would be interested in. Anything they're particularly interested in or enjoy doing?

Football museum?

Eastmeetswest1 · 16/06/2024 18:38

Crystal Maze - was great fun.

If they’re into science, Jodrell Bank, home to the famous Lovell telescope, my sons loved it as teenagers. It’s a UNESCO world heritage site too.

The tech-infused crazy golf. It's in the Arndale Centre, same place as The Cube which also looks amazing fun, but pricey.

Inflata Nation in Trafford Park is great. Late afternoon is probably a better time for teens.

Ice rink in Altrincham, and you can also go and watch the ice hockey.

Indoor ski slope next to the Trafford centre.

If you go to the Altrincham ice rink there is a nice bowling alley nearby - Atlantic Bowl. It's our favourite out of the local bowling alley choices.

Dino Falls adventure golf is outside near the Trafford centre - my teens think it's better than the Paradise Island one inside.

Depot Climbing Manchester is a large indoor bouldering centre in Trafford Park (near the Trafford centre) - can hire climbing shoes to use and if the kitchen is open the pizzas and fries are excellent. If you go there, do the online waivers in advance to save time.

If they're into Ninja activity centres there's a Total Ninja in Trafford Park and a Ninja Warrior UK place in Wigan.

There's kayak hire at Debdale Outdoor Centre and Trafford Water Park, kayaks also available through a company called Venture Out who run self guided trips down the River Mersey. We've done the Venture Out kayaking and enjoyed it

If they are into football, then the National Football Museum is a great place to visit. Not been for a while but used to have loads of interactive exhibits.
