Hello!
Any idea how to handle anxiety naturally? I've been ill since April and now my sense of smell is so strong that I can't go anywhere. I did schedule an appointment because I feel I need some kind of anti depression meds.

For low level anxiety - meditation and yoga help me manage day to day. However meds were a lifesaver for me postnatally. Definitely discuss with your gp. Hope you feel better soon x

Running worked for me, bur any sort of exercise should have that effect. In terms of medication, Passiflora (passion flower) which you can get from Holland and Barrett works for me. Valerian too, but I find I can't take that long term as it can be a bit of a depressant. You'll find something that works for you, OP. I'm sorry you're in a difficult place. I would also recommend looking at the root cause through counselling.

I just started taking Paxil 10 mg and clonazepam .5. I really hope this works and I understand it will take a few weeks to kick in. I really want to decrease my anxiety so my inflammation (back) can reduce. I'm about 70% better but still in discomfort especially since it's my mid back!
