Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else?
Got an iphone 15, its new not second hand so never had an apple id linked to it etc
Set it up to the point it asks you to either sign in with apple id or create one, I want to create an icloud email so I went for that option. gets to the part where you agree to the terms and conditions then its just says 'verification failed there was an error connecting to the apple id server' and won't let me go further so i set the device up without an apple id just to set it up thinking i could do it later and it still wont let me do it. I can't download anything from the app store etc
I have tried factory resetting the phone, resetting all the settings, turning airplane mode on and off, taking my sim out and putting it back in, trying it on wifi and also on data and nothing is working.
I'm going away tonight on a work trip and really need my phone as I don't have a spare sitting around.
Anyone else had this? How did you fix it?
