Anyone who's seen it can you tell me - would Inside Out 2 be suitable for DD5 or not? She loves the first Inside Out and has watched it lots of times but I've heard the sequel is about puberty and stuff? Is she likely to enjoy it anyway?

This suggests there are bits that could be a bit dark and frightening. I know it’s Oz but couldn’t find info for uk for some reason.

Saw it today and it's pretty much a re-hash of the 1st film but with more characters. They go on an adventure in Riley's head to find something lost that they need to get back to headquarters.

My DS6 enjoyed it, puberty was mentioned but not a huge part of the film. I did have to explain who the new characters were in simpler language to him (anxiety=worry etc). No big scary clown chases so less scary than the 1st. Overall good, much better than IF.

I saw it with my 9year old today. Universal rated. Mentions puberty but really is about not changing yourself for others. I think plenty would go over a 5 year olds head. Theres a 'deep dark secret' character some little ones might find scary as he's eyes peering out of a hood but only on screen briefly. As pp said it's very similar set up to the first, wandering around her mind with all those marbles. I can't think of anything unsettling in it and I would think most 5year olds would be absolutely fine with it.
