Does anyone know of any plumbing/heating insurance companies that allow you to use your own plumber rather than their call out contractor? I'd like to get insurance but still use my plumber I've had to 10 years. Thank you

No. Insurers always require you to use their contractors in my experience. Certainly when I worked for a major insurance company we would have insisted on it. OK that was over 10 years ago, but I doubt if it has changed.

Can you self insure. Put an amount away each month and use that for call outs and servicing?
