Dog going mad up the street

It's been barking for 5 minutes now just as I was trying to settle and get a few hours sleep? Heaven knows why it's owners don't stop it

Even I wouldn't leave my dogs barking for 5 minutes.

I thought it had stopped but it's just started again. I give up, going to make a cup of tea and write a list of what I need to buy/do Saturday daytime.

It's weird isn't it, perhaps owners locked it out but they wouldn't be able to sleep through it

Maybe owners had to go out (a and e trip, elderly relative had a fall, picking up drunk friend etc)

Oh yep, perhaps, hope there's an innocent reason. Think it's tired itself out now!

Maybe someones trying to break in the house?

It didn't sound angry, I think it's probably what @SummerSnowstorm said and owners were called away.

It sounded much louder as there was no traffic. Hopefully dog is OK, although I'm very tired!
