Why discontinue foods?

Something on fb just jogged my memory of all the foods I loved and they just ripped them away 😩 why!!

What I would give to bring these back. Makes me so sad 😞 why discontinue them I don't understand.

Ughhh Toast Toppers were like tinned vomit

stank · 14/06/2024 17:51

Because they could make more money making something else and, in the case of Toast Toppers, because someone realised what filth they were producing!

Smartiepants79 · 14/06/2024 17:54

Because not enough people bought them to make them enough money.

Toast toppers! Those haunted my childhood.

I am dumbfounded by the amount of foods that have been discontinued that have been lost in my memory

Sunshineonasameyday · 14/06/2024 18:28

Toast toppers were awful. I want them to bring back those strawberry hippo yoghurts that weren't yogurts and fiendish feet yogurts.

My bugbear is foods that are no longer generally available.

I'm sure animals still produce brains, sweetbreads, & all parts of veal.
