Going from burying head in sand about task list to a million miles an hour - why?

Why do I do this - I had so much to do including things I don't particularly want to do and I ignored them all. Then I have a day like today where having been forced into doing one task I then blitz through everything at the speed of light and am now sitting here glowing and feeling like I run the world. Work and home stuff, I had a list of tricky calls to make piling up and now it's all done.

Why do I do this and, more importantly, how can I do this every day? What does everyone else do.

I've read Eating the Frog or whatever it's called but it didn't speak to me. Would just like to bottle this efficiency up and take a tablet every morning.

This is a very personal question, but is your period due? I get a (very out of character) burst of energy the day before my period arrives where I am super productive and tick losds off my lust. I don't have a regular cycle so its not planned, it's like my body just knows I will feel exhausted for the next few days so it forces me to do everything the day before.
My friend said she gets the same too.

Hi, I don't think it's that as I'm a bit past that now (54). Worth bearing in mind for anyone else though 😊
