Car snacks!

We (2 adults and 2 primary school DC) I have a 7 hour road trip next weekend. Looking for car snack inspiration! (Percy pigs 🐷 are a given)

What are your road trip must haves?

(Also- any tips for good National Trust places between North East and Southampton?)

Thanks

In our car, quite plain biscuits - boring enough they don’t want them if not actually hungry, plain enough that no one feels sick after & filling enough.usually digestives or rich tea, ginger nuts or petit beurre.
also polos for the puker.
Cutted up fruit / veg with a cool pack, not loads.
non Spill water bottles that fit their holders. Savoury biscuits. Crisps.
sometimes frozen frubes. I try to have meals at stops rather than incessant car snacking tho (see : puker above)
juice boxes. I tried porridge bars once, but we saw that again halfway down the m6.

I have been looking at snack boxes with little compartments. Whatever I do it all ends up on the floor.

No hard sweets or lollipops! My mum had to emergency brake when I was little and eating a hard boiled sweet, it lodged in my throat and was terrifying

Percy pigs are obviously the sweet of choice!

I also enjoy dried fruits, little cake bites in the tubs and popcorn.

My kids enjoy nutrigrain bars, mini cheddars and fruits like blueberries
