Casual work from home for DS (18)

DS (18) is just coming to the end of A level exams. He has several chronic health issues (Bowel and muscular) and has his good days and bad days. He has muddled through A levels by dropping a subject and then a mix of going into college when he's well and doing work from home etc otherwise.

He would struggle to do even a part time job that required him to be out of the house in public at set times/shifts. I know being at home alone for 3 months whilst his mates are all working/having fun will have a negative effect on his MH so I'd like him to get a part time job.

He's very good with IT and I thought something like data entry etc remotely from home with casual/Flexi hours would suit him. It would at least give him some structure and purpose.

Do these type of jobs even exist? And if so would they consider an 18yr old and how would he find out about them?

He could look into 'proof-reading'. I believe that can be done remotely.
