I have been seeing a physiotherapist for a few months for upper back/shoulder pain. I am six months postpartum and the pain was from the position I was breastfeeding in/holding my baby to sleep in. The pain was improving so much, however I recently caught COVID and so did my baby. He basically didn’t sleep for 2/3 days and I held/carried him so much during that time. My body has now basically given up on me and the pain has got so much worse. My upper arms are so painful and feel heavy. I also have hip pain when moving my outer thighs hurt so much when pressed. I cannot see my physio for a few more days but I do get some relief when I rub Natures Kiss into the area. It is very painful when I press down on my skin and massage it but feels better after a painful massage - am I doing myself any damage by doing this? Also am I best to book into a podiatrist for the hip pain or would a physio be able to help?
