Walking home earlier and I got a flurry of text messages from Lloyd's saying someone had tried to use my bankcard. Gave me a number to ring but when I rang and asked the man how I could be sure he worked for Lloyd's he couldn't prove it. Told me to leave it 20 mins and then ring the number on my bank card. I was then on hold for 20 mins. Got through to a man who explained everything. Luckily they hadn't spent anything just registered my card which triggered Visa ringing Lloyd's. Man asked if I could get to a branch in the morning. I replied that they had closed all the branches near me so NO I couldn't.
Mum then drove me to. The nearest cashpoint. I had another twenty minutes on hold. Eventually man answered and unblocked my card so I could get cash out and then froze the card again... New card coming next week.
GAHHHHH,.. If I could get hold of those sheisters I'd drop them in boiling oil!!!! 😡 😡 😡 😡 😡
