4 nights away - what do you pack?

We're off to see Taylor Swift on Saturday, and are staying in Liverpool for four nights from tomorrow.

I've just been packing my (small) case & didn't think it was that excessive ignore the bracelets, beads and four outfits for Saturday because I'm indecisive af. But I am fast running out of space, I still need a jumper of some sort & change of shoes in there! Plus make up, and accessories for Saturday.

& don't even get me started on my pillow & hot water bottle 🙈 (the pillow's for comfort when sleeping - started when I was very ill with breast cancer last year - feels strange without it).

Ffs I needed the BIG case out of the loft 🤣

I was hoping to come back to a nice list written for me! 🙈

Can't answer sorry, I'm the worst packer, I always take too much then don't have the things I need for the weather

🤣 I overpacked, and packed for nicer weather, for York the other week!

I'm doomed!

A picture might help of how much stuff you are planning on taking...

Also if traveling by train might not be much luggage room. Can you tuck socks inside of shoes?? I find if I roll things up I can get more in my small suitcase x or maybe try packing cubes?? Hmmm have a fantastic time in Liverpool x

I’d take 2 potential outfits at most, don’t wear makeup but if I did I’d take a minimum.

When I was packing for a week-long holiday & was expecting chilly & wet at one end & hot & sunny at the other I layered up - I packed enough T-shirts for the week & travelled in one with a shirt over it, then also took a sweatshirt that packed fairly small but could go over both. It worked ok.

4 nights - pjs , 4 sets undies, 4 tops and 2 pairs trousers, 1 jumper and coat if weather forecast looks poor. Possibly a second pair of shoes

take half of it out, you can do this with your eyes shut if you like. Honestly you’ll look at it when you get home and think ‘what was I thinking?’. Anything you don’t have you can buy there.

pillow, sounds large, understandable, but maybe not for when you away? Or take a small travel pillow? I used to think I couldn’t sleep without earbuds in for the radio, turns out I can if I forget the while away?

choose one fabulous TS outfit and enjoy your lighter travelling!

How are you travelling? If by car then just don't worry. Train a bit trickier

Put on all your Eras outfits. Take your favourite 2

Layers!

4 knickers, 2 bras, socks
Has your accommodation got a pool? If so swimwear

I tend to pack dresses so I don't need to match tops and bottoms. Pair with trainers, thick tights & boots, cardigan or jacket as appropriate

Have a fab time ☺️

Concert outfit, spare trousers, four tops, clean undies. One extra pair of shoes. Wear coat and cardigan. I travel by train a lot and only ever take small case that I can lift on steps, You have to be ruthless and sensible. You don’t need all the ‘in case’ stuff. Lay the clothes on the bed. do you have four outfits? Ditch everything else. Oh, and you have probably packed too many toiletries and too much make up.
