What do I do with the clip on a backless booster?

Hi, we are trying to install a backless booster for the first time (only using temporarily for an older child. I know theyre not the best). How do we use the clip at the back to harness it to the car please? It came with zero instructions and I can't find any info when googling this.

We just used the seatbelt. is it an additional clip for the shoulder strap of the belt?

I didn't know you're suppose to harness it to the car...?

The clip is for the shoulder belt to hold it behind DC's shoulder. Will try to find a pic, hold on.

Ours have clips that you can clip on to the isofix bar in the car. You don’t have to though, the seats still work the usual way when not clipped.

Unless your seat has Isofix connectors, you don't need to connect it to the car itself. You just make sure that the lap belt on both sides and usually the bit of the diagonal belt near the buckle are all routed under the little guides (horns) on each side of the booster seat when you strap your child in. Check the manual in case it says something else, but usually all three of those points need to go under.
