Sunak aide Craig Williams bet £100 that the election would be on 4th of July. What odds would he have got?

(Obviously he was wrong but that's not what I'm asking)

On the radio this morning they said the bet was that the election would be "in July" rather than the specific date (I guess that would have been too sus), and the bet won £500. So 5/1, presumably.

Seems hardly worth the bother considering the downside if it was discovered.

Some people are just dim and don't think about possible consequences. Craig Williams is one of them. It's like professional footballs running into problems with betting on matches. Unwise.
